My name is June. I'm 10 years old , study in grade 5 at Daroonpat school. http://www.daroonpat.ac.th/
I feel worry about travel because every time I travel with my familly. But this time I'm alone.
However I think i won't alone because will meet my host family and have new friends.
Very good post, June. It is good to talk about your feelings in this blog, even if you are worried or upset about something. That shows that you are a very good writer! Keep it up!
ReplyDeleteOh, by the way June, you should probably tell your host family which girl you are in that picture. :-)
ReplyDeleteFor example, you can say that you are on the top-left, and your friend is making rabbit ears behind your head.
That is a nice photo, and I'm sure your host family will be happy to see that you are a happy girl with many silly friends!
Great picture of you girls. Rachel & Hannah have lots of silly friends. So all of you should get along very good. We got 81.2" of snow this winter. 10 inches of that just hit us today. Please bring some of your warm weather with you! Take Care.
ReplyDeleteDear Asplund family - I am Manop. June's dad. She is our youngest doughter, but actually we have only one girl;-). She is quite exciting to make her own journey to Wisconcin, and we also excite with her as well. She likes cold weather and snow ! Weather in Bangkok now is around 28-30C, but rainning in somedays.
ReplyDeleteHello Manop, I'm not sure when your daughter is arriving, but I'm guessing there will still be some snow left. The updated snow total is about 18 inches for our area. We will welcome your daughter into our home and try to make her American experience something she will remember. We hope to learn a lot from June about your culture. So it will be a learning experience for us as well. Scott-DAD :)
